this is why I hooked up a computer with internet to the store's PA system at my work (DQ), we got tired of Z and the beat, now we use Shoutcast internet radio stations, so much better :D
i even put the Digitally Imported Trance stream on, a few minutes before we close, best part is, my boss in his late 40s was like "hey, this is pretty good" :p Last edited by dSl-DuDe; Sep 23, 04 at 11:58 AM. |

I honestly feel that they are influenced by American and the grand old MTV.
TRL play - Avril -Ryan C -Ashlee Simpson -Maroon 5 -Jessica -Hilary Duff They are honestly trying to play what's hot, and in the US those artists are all rocking the charts. Also, people vote those songs onto the top seven at seven so clearly there are listeners who appreciate it. If you've ever heard a NY radio station or watched TRL you'd get the change, they are trying to be hip to the now. I get it. Dont love it...but dont HATE it...they want to play the hits...not just hip hop, and those ARE the hit songs right now. |

If you have cable radio, check out 104.5. If not, check out www.radiocfml.com
That's BCIT's radio station. It's not top 40. It's not hip hop (though we do have some stuff in there...k-os, sweatshop union). It's called Triple A...so we'll play anything from Jack Johnson, bob marley, sam roberts, muse, the music, metric, etc... Check it out. |
