Try to get some exercise. Often when your body isn't getting enough exercise it doesn't need as much sleep or the sleep you do get isn't as resting. I find when I stop exercising, my sleeping patterns just disappear. I can't sleep, I am irritable and I toss and turn. So perhaps try going for a walk or a run or doing something before you go to bed to sort of tire you out. I know the feeling though, it sucks when you're lying awake staring at the ceiling and you can't sleep a wink!
