yeah or atleast make them more affordable for teens with bad acne! lol... when you are young and have bad skin but very little money it's hard to find products to make it look better and help the problem at the same time.
I also agree wtih Avana. I myself don't wear a lot of make up, I just prefer not to and feel more comfortable that way. But for women who do prefer to wear more make up it's good to know that there actually is stuff out there to enhance their face and look as natural as possible without looking like they are wearing tons of make up. |

I paid $10,000 to learn that! :S But I see a lot of girls on here do their make up fine. And others, they seriously look like the scary fat lady from Drew Carey. |

It isn't so much about the product you use, because you could be using the cheapest line out there, it is how you use it.
I myself avoid the color baby blue. It tends to make almost EVERYONE look tired and haggard. It doesn't have good staying power and can look like crap by the end of the day. Sparkles are another thing that most people should avoid, unless they know how to use them. They tend to look young and trashy. And lets talk about smokey eyes.....The trick to a good make up application, is that the lines are not solid. They blend out and seem to flawlessly fade from one color, to another. DO NOT LEAVE A SOLID LINE LIKE A LEDGE. It looks unnatural, and funny. Eyeliner - oh dear, where do I start with liner......it is not necessary to put it all the way around your eye. For some people, it looks scary. It can also give your eye the appearance that it is VERY small. Some of you can pull it off. How about the wings? I have never understood why people do the wings at the ends of their liner......it was the first no no we learned in make up school.....UGH. Mascara, do not reapply again once the first coat has dried. Chunky soup eyelashes are not attractive... Oh dear-I swear, end rant! :D |

^ haha I love the word haggard.. such a funny word. =P
ohh ok it's more about the way you put it on being more important than the product, that makes a lot more sense.. So it's probably a good thing I stick to small amounts of make up if any at all... apparently I really don't know much about it! bahahah oh lordy! |

I’ve had bad skin for as long as I can remember.... That’s the number one reason I wear makeup...
Since I switched doctors and finally got off the waiting list to see one of the best dermatologists (sp?) in the lower mainland I feel a bit better. The first thing she said to me was that I was not allowed to wear foundation at all... I freaked... But learn to just be ok with my skin... If it’s bad or good. I still now put on a little to cover up bad spots but I find that it just makes them look worse... I know what you girls are talking about by seeing girls with classy makeup and some not so classy. I always wished that I had someone to teach me how to put on makeup the right way... but I learned over the years by trial and error lol |

I wear make up everday usually unless i'm at home.
I think it's all a matter of KNOWING how to put it on. I'm no expert, and completely self taught as my mother doesn't wear make up at all but I think I do ok. My little sis was a disaster when she first started wearing it. All weird colors and way to much eye shadow with NO mascara. lol. poor thing, i had to teach her. thankfully she doesn't wear foundation, cuz i bet she would have been a pretty caked up 16 year old back then. i only wear foundation on my chin cuz i have a scar and i'm totally insecure about it and i hate people asking questions. i wish i knew how to properly apply eye make up. |

i think my biggest issues are the dark circles under my eyes and the fact that it looks like i have no eyelashes, and have very pale skin.. so when i go out on the weekend, i try to fix that up a little.. other then that..i hardly ever wear makeup..
it makes my face feel like it's suffocating. and i love having the freedom to go to town rubbing my eyes whenever i want without worrying but i would love to wear eyeshadow well, and maybe some ruby red lipstick on special special occasions, but i am never comfortable with it... i'm always afraid i'll get the lip-stick all over my teeth or something. |

[In Japan,] much in the traditional way of childrearing seems to foster passive dependence. The child is rarely left alone, day or night, for it usually sleeps with the mother.
When it goes out the child is not pushed ahead in a pram, to face the world alone, but is tightly bound to the mother's back in snug cocoon. When the mother bows, the child does too, so the social graces are acquired automatically while feeling the mother's heartbeat. Thus emotional security tends to depend almost entirely on the physical presence of the mother.
