Job interview today.

I don't mind that I have an interview (at all)... the problem is I woke up at 4AM or so last night feeling SICK.

I don't feel quite as terrible now but I'm definetly dizzy.. my interview is at 2pm, so I have to figure out if I want to:

A) Go do it anyways, and hope I don't throw up on his desk

or

B) Phone and have to explain what's happened.. and hopefully reschedule

I really just wanted to go in and nail down this job today.. what if I get it and I start tomorrow! Ugh I'd have to go to work sick.

Obviously there's always a bit of anxiety before an interview.. of course it's normal. But considering I know I'm overqualified for this position, and I've got references and experience to confirm this, I'm about as non-nervous as you can get. Not to mention the fact that the last time I did an interview, I fucking nailed it.

I can differentiate between anxiety and illness. They don't feel the same at all.

Interview went great. Pretty much the same situation as when I interviewed in Australia.. that being, I know I did as well as I could have, and that he was impressed.. but I have to wait a couple of days to find out.

I might be interviewing for a job that's in the bag pretty much soon..but now I'm really just going through the pros and cons to see where I really want to end up. It's funny how you can really really crave change until it stares you right in the face! haha.

What are you doing/what is the pay?

Working as a surveyor's assistant on the RAV line, the big translink project to get people from Richmond and the airport to downtown... expected to take until 2008 or 2009.

Pay is well over $20 an hour with full benefits from day 1, and 1 hr of guaranteed OT per day.

If its for govt, expect to make around 24.50 p/h, I recently got hired for the govt and that is what I am getting paid. No benefits yet though :( gotta wait 3 months or so.
