Hell Yes I am going!
I went to shambhala in 2003,2004,2005.I had such a blast at all of them. 2005 was probably my least favorite year, though because my boyfriend at the time wasn't really into it and he was pretty moody all weekend and we spent a lot of time fighting.I wish I would have went in 2006. All of the previous years, I tried to convince all of my friends to go, but they never did. And then they all went last year and I couldn't make it.:sad2: I think this year is going to be the best one yet! Every year, the stages get better and there seems to be a lot more happening. One thing I think they should do is TRY to keep the porta potties cleaner and maybe have more of them. 10 000 people can make quite a mess! EWE! Trying to plug your nose and hold a flashlight and not sit down on the seat is quite a feat at 4 am while you are partying! lol. Maybe if they pressue wash them a few times a day or something, I don't know! Also $1/ minute for a shower? Who the hell can shower in 5 minutes? I am a girl! I want to shave my legs and condition my hair dammit! Yes I know, sham is outdoors and everyone is dirty and I should " rough it", but I like to have one REAL shower in four days. The other days I am more than happy to rinse off in the river. Other than that, no real complaints. Shambhala is so much fun and I look forward to it every year!! |

Back then we were allowed to enter and exit the site, I'm not sure if in/outs are still allowed. If they are you might want to search for it. Droppin Shambhala science here! |

solar bags and a tarp in the trees make a pretty decent shower, provided you come soon enough to get a spot near trees, we managed to have a shower every day for 12 days on the ranch.
shitter situation it probably the most difficult issue they have to deal with, they have managed to improve things signifincantly over the years |

Have you ever considered... soberity? I've heard it can be done at a party, although I have to admit it's been a while since I last did it (some time during the un-legal years, to my best recollection).

I don't think thats a possibility, especially at shambhala. there are also many other reasons that I havent mentioned why I dont particularly want to make the effort. |
