For those who don't know

LCD Soundsystem is the musical project of producer James Murphy, co-founder of dance-punk label DFA Records. The music of LCD Soundsystem can also be described as a mix of dance music and punk, along with elements of disco and other styles.

When performing live, Murphy is accompanied by the following band members:

• Al Doyle - guitar, percussion (also of Hot Chip)
• Phil Skarich - bass
• Nancy Whang - keyboards, synthesizer
• Pat Mahoney - drums

I'm going to the LCD show at commodore, but i'll probably hit this up the next day. Seen Juan Maclean a couple times and always enjoy his shows.

Downloaded the hotchip album today. good songs on there. Mildly downtempo much like much of the stuff on DFA, which pisses me off about their stuff, but overall good music.

Just thought i'd follow up.

This show sucked balls.

My night starts off with Baile Funk Thong song x Sandstorm mashup from eric & andrew, so im already in a bad mood.

Followed by trainwreck after trainwreck from james & pat.

I left after like 30 minutes and found a wonderful Korean place on Robson & Something that was open late and ate away my disappointment.

LCD Sound live was really good on the other hand.
