You're like a rabid pack of wild wolves. We all have our first set of demos. Goddamit on cloud 9 that he can hear his own CD. Where's your demos?? Can you set them up on here for all of us to hear?? Constructive criticism people. For God sakes.

Xyz, i'm interested to know, How long have you been playing? What's some of your favorite records? Have you played a party yet?

Maybe you should actually take into consideration what these people are posting. A lot of them are DJ's or promoters that could hook you up. But your attitude is a huge turn off. I don't see how you don't realize that. I would never book you for a show, whether your an amazing producer or not, because you come across as such an egotistical asshole.

I haven't seen you making any effort to support any techno nights, or techno dj's. How do you expect people to return the support and respect if you yourself don't give it?

sorry about almost bringing a tear to your eye babe, but yeah i seem to get bashed a lot on these forums... Im just around the corner of releasing it 3 more tracks, these are my big ones and it will be all done and i can unlesh something that i call amazing. Im very proud of my work. I havent played a party yet because I dont want to spin, I want to play my produced stuff live and thats it.

Seb: do you still use your zyx.com mail account? also, long time no ICQ (have you jumped on the MSN bandwagon like the others? :-) now that you are of age, you should come out more... best way to promote yourself, get to know some of the people in the scene, etc.. etc... Chris Liberator, Sept. 2 @ THe Drink :0) if ya like techno :-) Mirka and Trevor (Son Of Jacob) will be opening and they also play some kick azz techno! (like as in real techno).

oh yeah, and if you don't want to spin and want to play your tracks out live, you should talk to Trevor (Son of Jacob), as him and crew do a night every other Thursday at Lick (part of Lotus) and they feature a live local electronica act everytime (usually techno oriented; MUX has played there, and so has Max Power, etc.. etc... ).... but the key thing is getting out there and meeting these poeple....

or feel free to come out to Lotus on Sunday the 5th and say hello to yours truely... we are throwing another gig there and I will be spinning (and I finally get to meet you after all these years of online chatter :-)

PS: also, join the Black Hole Club ( http://www.blackholeclub.com/ ) which is the local hang out for lower mainland electronica producers... you get to talk to them and get hints/tips/chat about production and all other related things... and they usually have meets which would be good for any would be producer to attend and get to know some of the other peers.

oh, and I forgot, send your material to Mirka as well as Noah so they can play it on their radio shows (they both do a show on Friday nights, Mirka is on the SFU station, and Noah is on CiTR). They have a CanCon (canadian content) mandate and are always after material by local artists...
