not musicwise, but presentation-wise
I want it to be like 500 copies or more of a CD with front and back covers, plus the CD itself to have a well done cover... that's lookin at probably at least $100 I would imagine...

How bout no cover and a cd with your phone and email address scribbled on it? Seems to work pretty well for some, and I'm sure the music will speak for itself ;]

It's all about the music, not the cover. The cover is just an added bonus if you can do it

cover = good way to make people actually listen when u hand them a CD, instead of going 'oh great another crappy DJ demo CD that has no effort put into it'
I won't pretend anybody in Vancouver's heard of me, so I won't assume my reputation will cause everyone to wanna listen to my demo when I hand it out
na'm'sayin?

^ That's just Kyle Nordman talking, and his absence from everyone's list is a major oversight. Do yourself a favour, educate your booty friday nights at Sonar's "Vivid". Prepare to hear broken beats served up in a whole new fashion.

I don't know where to start because there is soo much talent out there that I know I'm going to forget a few and also soo many Djs out there that spin VARIOUS styles that it's hard to know what style they are but here is my list:

- Czech (gose without saying)
- Vinyl Richie
- Influenze (had the pleasure of rockin portland with them, killer production forsure. These guys need to play in van more... who knows maybe sooner than you think right?)
- Soda 'pOp' (Crazy man himself)
- Precious (aka Precise) ~ just teasin'
- Skip EZ (Always has awsome records)
- Akeel 'Tha Drummah' (you kick ass man)
- E-Man (my Portuguese Brutha)
- Thanatos (deserves more respect in the local scene forsure... but it's is something you earn my fellow GRIDLOCK'D Buddy)
- Kraig (getting better and better everytime I hear him and is definately earning his respect)
- Andrew Spence (hands down)
- OJ (killah)
- FLUID (simply amazing)
- Soma (you always seem to impress aswell)
- Ryan Ross (haven't heard much from u as of lately)
- Omega Image (breakbeat ninja)
- Mateo (superstar asshumper... lol)
- Major josh ( keep working at it man)
- Lenny Ford (havent heard you play in ages)

and soo man more I know that I have missed out that are awsome aswell...

Mad Respect to the breaks posse
