It just so happens that I played at least an hour of it during my set at Shambhala last year(2004). PEOPLE ATE THE SHIT UP. I had dozens of people come up to me after my set and thank me for playing it. I believe the only people to played it last year was me and Vinyl Driver(props). If you don't like it, then thats your problem, but I had over 700-800 people rocking out to it @ Shambhala! I agree that there should definately be speed garage at Shambhala this next year, and I intend to play it again myself.:253:

anyone who enjoys house and proper garage should at least be able to appreciate the more classic speed garage sound. unfortunately the development of the genre perverted at some point.. 187 lockdown to me represents everything that went wrong with speed garage. it retains about 0 of the garage element and instead replaces it with crap production and irritating samples. what happened?

& you say 'what happened'...... well that is the past.... and now some of the most amazing tracks are now being produced. Once you hear them at a party you will know they got released this year. watch out!!! |

never mind the speed garage, what shambala really needs is to switch up the dnb headliners and maybe bring some UK guys....i mean they have slip and slide every year, which is cool, great djs and nice guys, but those guys are out here for two months every summer anyways, so you'd think that on top of them maybe they could bring some serious out of town talent, someone who's on tour, etc...it wouldn't be that hard for them to pull shy fx or ss or someone...

every song is different
i'll admit the cosmic gate, dumonde, artists like those will never change their stuff and it is quite annoying. but i've recently gotten into the more progressive but still uplifting side of trance and my god do i love it. http://www.robb-peppertree.24ppqn.com/mixes/ppcock/into the light.mp3 bah.. fuckin gay.. you need the spaces in there. |
