The VL-1 was my first synth, my parents got it for me when I was ten. I loved that thing - used to program the lead synthline to A-Ha's "Take On Me" into the sequencer and jam out on the step buttons. Hell, I brought it to summer camp with me!

My dad threw it out when he moved last year. :( It was still in the beige vinyl case and everything.

There's a VL-1 for sale at AAA Pawnshop on Main. They want $200 for it. !!!!!

Move to East Van, rent a house with a bunch of like-minded friends. Rent on a big old house is usually about $2000/month - four friends, $500 each for rent. We used to rent a seven-bedroom house for $1600/month, right near Main and Broadway...

...mind you, after the combined studios and two seperate living rooms, it was more like five bedrooms.

We live in a house near Commercial now, but we're looking to buy a house near Main.
