There is more to the industry than just production. once you have marketting down on a headlock, you can sell your shit wrapped in newspaper. |

fuck yeah.. I was about to buy that one... Or maybe i already did.
Now how bout those trance cdj's... Ever wonder since the dj's get their stuff on CDS that the quality in the track has gotten so shitty.. That its considered the gayest of wank trance? |

Wait, I betcha I can name at least 50 DJs in BC who spin trance, and spin it 110x better than tiestio. Why? Because they know how to spin for starters! Lets try something.... Everyone, give me $100,000. U.S. and let me spend it on marketing. I betcha within a year I can be the DJ to take over Tiestios place! Marketing and Money! What its all about! I wanna hear all your responces for the pro-tiestio people in about 5 years! Get some more styles under yer ears! |

Tracks you buy online should be straight from the studio and if not, a really good 320kbps rip with no pops and snaps... but some people are rookies and dont know how to rip em, they screw up the eq's and then loose allot of the sound by putting it to 192kbps... I either get the record and rip it to a 320kbps mp3... or I take a weak mp3 and tweak with the volume til is sounds just loud enough. In a sense REMASTERING it but not even.

back in the day i never had the ear for electronica... it didnt appeal to me, mainly cause it was still in its experimental stages...
soon enough productions got better over time... and the i started to notice some tracks, all cause they had catch synths.. ps oakenfold apparently is more of a molester than tiesto.... |

tiesto is a name known to ALL. everyone has heard at least one of his songs. im not against him im just saying if he can get back to real trance other than trying to pass off his pop songs as trance. i completley dislike his new cd. he needs to get back to his original fans and deliver.

Since his American outlet is Nettwerk, you can rest assured we here in Vancouver are going to know who he is. Nettwerk has a habit of pumping up their acts to the Nth degree whenever they have a release in the Lower Mainland. (anyone remember the promotional blitz for Delerium's Karma?)

Oh, wait, this is all about if Tiesto's as good as he and his Cult says? Well, having watched some video of his entrance from the parking lot to the DJ Booth at Ice, which is about as ludicrous as watching it in Boxing, one has to wonder if we'd handle the same amount of bullshit with Robert Oleysyck (don't worry if you've never heard of him -just be assured he's as compentant a DJ as Tiesto). |

The only reason Tiesto is good is the same reason Sensation White and Black are soo world renound...
The team of promotions and marketing do a great job at selling. Why cant producers just make their way up... Armin has and he still hasnt reached #1 spot, yet I think he deserves it.... |

sure is amazing that a dj that bores his listners still gets voted number #1 dj in the world for three years in a row. that should mean ppcock should have been number one years ago. |

-tiesto first ever dj to play infront of a crowd exceding 1 billion (olympics) -tiesto's remix of Delerium Featuring Sarah McLachlan - The Silence was the first house track ever broadcasted on daytime radio in north america and was four weeks in the U.K. top 10 chart. AND YOUR SAYING THATS NOT DOING ANYTHING FOR DANCE MUSIC>? YOU GUYS ARE ALL FUCKED |
