Jungle was the stuff that morphed out of UK 'ardcore that was typically slower but with more complex rhythms (150-160 bpm). DnB bascially started with Alex Resse's Pulp Fiction in lke '94 which had far more regular drum beats (like hte 2 step baet) and eventually got faster and faster till it hit around 180 bpm

Personally, they are the same thing to me. I was around in London for much of the 1990's and both terms were used.

dj_soo's explanation is suitable for those that need more information on the reasons some use the words in different context now.
