the way I've always differentiated between drum n bass and jungle is that to me, drum n bass is spun between 140 and 160, whereas jungle is spun faster and more synth orientated than dnb.

I could be completely wrong, but that's how I look at it.

you have it the wrong way around.

Jungle was the stuff that morphed out of UK 'ardcore that was typically slower but with more complex rhythms (150-160 bpm). DnB bascially started with Alex Resse's Pulp Fiction in lke '94 which had far more regular drum beats (like hte 2 step baet) and eventually got faster and faster till it hit around 180 bpm

what on earth makes you think anyone is actually that dumb? you couldn't possibly be on fnk for a few months and not know the answer to that question. he's just trying to wind people up because these threads always turn into a 6 page argument. don't you remember "what's a junglist?"

actually im not supprised at all. i bet theres quite a few people on this board that claim to enjoy their dnb or even be a "jungalist" and not know the difference. atleast the kid is interested in something other than one genre of music unlike us onetrack mind dub jerks
