Putting age aside, I am glad that you and your sister are finally talking to each other more. In times of stressful situations, your sister needs support! Hell, if I was going through a divorce, I'd like my sister to be there for me, and vica versa. Usually when there is a tragedy or a bad experience that happens within the family (like a death or something) it should bring family closer together :) Therefore, support your sister dude, it is the brotherly thing to do!
