Soundwave 2007 is officially happening, so squash all those rumors and start packing!! It's only a month and a half away!!

Dates are July 13-16th (16th cuz Sunday night always has music playing as well going into Monday)

Keep an eye on the Soundwave group once a week for updates, and make it active by participating in the threads or wall posts!

why do i keep hearing that this year will be last Shambhala.. can anyone tell me if those rumours are true?

ha ha ha. i like how all talk of any music festival turns into a gushing thread about how super awesome shambhala is.
im going to shambs no doubt, got my ticket tucked away in hiding...

I'd still love to go to soundwave because it sounds like a completely different vibe/atmospher than what shambs offers.

UPDATE - May 17, 2007

My apologies for having to close the Soundwave 2007 Event on Facebook, but I was told to by the head of Soundwave.

The reason being is because the final touches on the contract have not been finalized, so the promoter does not want promo out yet.

I thought Soundwave was a go because two promoters who run one of the stages start posting the pre-flyer on public message boards such as Rave Victoria, this would make anyone assume the party was happening.

The pre-flyer was made because things ARE looking good for it to be happening, but some of the people involved who received the pre-flyer jumped the gun and so did I. So I apologize, but keep an eye on this forum for constant updates!

isn't starting a soundwave event on facebook something that would normally be done by the promoter, anyways?
