I think this line up is going to kill for New Years. Where else can you go in town and get a lineup lke this for that price. The hotels are charging over $100 a ticket and the clubs are $50+. You be crazy not to be at this bash.

PPcock -- GTR and Pulser (both from the UK) have never been here (to my knowledge), most have not seen Dopey especially since he has been named the World DMC Champ and some haven't seen Atomic Hooligan either.
From what I have seen, we are one of the very few promoters to be bringing in multiple out of town headliners. Granted some have been here before, but so what! Here is a run down of those headliners and where they are from: Swamp - LA GTR - UK Pulser - UK Dopey - Toronto Atomic Hooligan - UK Bassick Boyz - Seattle Mike Downey - LA -- plus 20 other locals from Vancouver and Victoria. Considering for those headliners you have DJ fees (which are more because it's New Years, flights (also more because it's New Years), hotels, etc... I think it's a pretty decent line-up for the price! Just my two cents! Cheers. |

That is sad since someone like PvD will draw the masses but DJ's like Elusive, Jon O'Bir, Vicky Devine, Yoshi and others who are making the 'new sound' won't get a chance to crack the scene here. |

WinSTONE hit the nail on the head with regards to bringing some of the cutting edge names that no one has heard of. - Hell in most cases, they are usually more affordable any way!
The risk you run though is because no one knows them, even no matter how much you educate them, they won't come. -- They need a BIG/COMMON name to feel comfortable in paying $35+ for a ticket. A great example of this was Simple last year when we brought Antoine. He is an amazing House DJ/Producer -- he is one of the best in the world actually yet not a lot of people showed to support. |

Keep in mind as well -- When you don't have a major corporate sponsor behind you IE: a Benson & Hedges or something similar to pay bills/DJ's fees and a piece of the show, all of the money required to throw a show comes from Twisted/Swing Kids.
