Solid Corp is bullshit, there money grabbing assholes.........i doubt theres 500 early bird tix out there, oor even 500 70 dollar tix..........i called Laramy's last night at like 830 and they didnt have any tix at all, i called today at like 5 in the evening and all the 60's were gone, same with the 70's, they said they were 88.......thats sad that he ither gotta pay out of our ass' or just not go, especially for the people who cant really afford that, yet have supported the Solid Corp for Years.

BT is a musician, he plays on keyboards, mixers, samplers etc. Not your run of the mill artist. BT has always done a live show. This is his full LIVE show. And yes he does do DJ sets as well, but at NYE it will be keyboards, laptop etc etc. just ask anyone who saw him at seattle halloween how amazing he was.

i'm sorry to hear that your unable to fork out the extra 20 or so but the pricing in my mind is very reasonable! i mean you're probably gonna spend that 20 on a movie, smokes, or even condoms right? Like Qboy said, the cost is pretty much everything 2x............venue, dj's, security, police, first aid etc..............

Paying 90 bucks is well worth it considering the talent comming down for a new yrs show. BT live, Kai Tracid, Z-trip, and even the house room has 2 *hot* Dj's from out of town. Usually you get only 1 or 2 headliners for a new yrs show and they're not that great!!

Look around the night life scene around Vancouver that night, everything is AT LEAST doubled or in some case's even tripled and the talent isn't that great! Like i said in anotehr thread, i did a new yrs club night last yr at Voda, and it sold out with us charging 45 bucks a pop just to get in!! Plus you gotta buy drinks and cab soo you're looking at about 100-150 just for 4 hours of partying at a club with 2 local dj's!!

Simply put, if promoters can't break even or make money from the shows..........there wouldn't be any shows or at least big ones!! So stop your bitching and whining!!

Please do understand, our cost is high but the caliber of the event is also. There are at least 500 early bird and 500 - $70 tickets printed for this event. However, NOT all the 1000 tickets were put in the stores - its spreaded across Stores, Ticketmaster and private sales. Private sales usually go super fast. Anyways, tickets are going fast and we would encourage people to get their tickets ASAP. ONDECKS just got their tickets TODAY (Tues) at 6pm.

B.T. :::: just incase anyone is interested in maybe doing a little B.T. style creating themselves here are some of his programs ::

LIVE :: Cubase.. (main sequenser)
LIVE :: Abelton live..
and a few other programs I'm not absolutely sure about.... I'm sure he uses final scratch lighly.. ... thats mainly to use a lop-top w/ turnrable and I don't think he plays any records !! although that is a fun program, Josh Wink uses that !!!
He may still be carriing the Korg keyboard too !?

People stop complaining about the ticket prices, with the talant that's comming to Vancouver for NYE the party is worth ever penny. Just go out and get your tickets early, cause prices will just be going up. Two years ago I spent $170 for a NYE ticket, but it was worth every penny, had the time of my life.


Also if everyone is wondering why the tickets are so expansive think about how much everything costs at new year's. I'm sure nobody wants to work on new year's and if they have to, then they want to get paid over time. Imagine how expansive over time is for ten hours on new year's for police, security, first aid, fire marshal, people working the concession, etc... Hell if I had to work on new year's I'd be so pissed of. I think the prices are reasonable, so do what you got to do and get your money and get a ticket, if you don't have the money oh well, stop complaining and whinning cause that will defenitly not get you a ticket, go use the time working or something.

Everything costs money and on new year's everything costs double, even if people decide to go to clubs, then they will still waste at least $150, depends if they want to drink alot and have a good time.
