I think starting in December is both appropriate and acceptable. (November!? Keeners.)

My sister's birthday is December 10th so my family waits until the 11th every year to get out the decorations. Plus we usually get a real tree so we wait till sometime between the 15-20th so that it will still be fresh and won't have turned all brown yet.

My work has been decorated all xmasy-like since a few days after Halloween.. but that's partially because our christmas rush starts in mid-October. lol

Im a keener..but because my boyfriend isn't..I will wait until the first!!!

Im hosting christmas dinner at my house for the first time this year (34 people) so I want to decorate a little more!! We are going to have two christmas trees!! and outside lights (which I have never had in my entire life...) and then lots of pretty stuff around the house!! It's going to be a classy christmas..no blow up shit for me thankyou.

As far as christmas shopping..I've been doing that since Aug! And I'll be done by Nov 30/07!!!!!


So in my opinion - the christmas decorations should go up whenever the hell you feel like it! :)
