Saying "Ufo's! Ufo's! Reverse engineering!" But when asked to prove it, involves long winded arguements that can't be proved. The simplest arguement is this, there isn't any evidence of UFO's, because they aren't flying around Trailer Parks picking up retired generals.

I believe that UFO's are in fact the spirts of fallen piniatas. Prove me wrong? You can't. But I you wouldn't be under that obligation unless I brought you evidence.

its true, the general population probably has a casual belief that we're not alone in the universe. thats not to say however that if we were to have confirmation of being visited by an alien life-form that there couldnt be widespread panic.

But what about the orginal point that so many are proven inconclusive. To make it a bit easier for you to work with. I think we can both easily agree on this. The vast majority of UFO sightings are proven to be false.

it could go either way. but consider the consequences if it does cause panic. the simple risk of such news causing a panic would defer news stations from broadcasting it. imagine all the religious people going into a riot after finding out that we aren't the chosen species created by god.
