Lately CNN has been doing alot of UFO related stories, albiet not too lengthy, so this is definetly a turning point in US exopolitics.

anyways ya i did see that on larry king.

i was pretty suprised at how serious that show was.

im seeing alot of mainstream ufo disclosure type stuff lately....more often as years pass.

could be only 15-20 years before its all passe and common knowledge.

I don't care if people believe or not so much as to the reasons they do or don't. Like the supposed skeptic on the end of the segment...how perfectly Fruedian when he said "people are easily fooled" ... oh how right you are man.

Some people just refuse to be civil about their beliefs because inside they are just scared fronting bitches, straight up, not trying to throw sand in anyone's eyes, just calling a spade a spade.

There are a few huge problems I've found with believing in UFO's.

If the government has been reverse engineering technology from UFO's, then how come technology use by the military is only a step above other countries, with a clear technological heritage.

The level of international cooperation is astounding. And has never been seen, in acual agreements that would benefit countries more (Ie- Trade)

In the 50+ years that people have researched UFO's, there has never been any evidence ever. Not even close.

I'd guess that 95% of UFO sightings can be easily explained. That's pretty bad right there.

reverse engineering requires understanding the bounds of the technology that was used to originally create the item. suppose we are trying to reverse engineer a UFO. we would have no understanding of the alien technology used to begin with, so reverse engineering would fail.

reverse engineering biggest problem is probly energy supply.

i doubt alien technology works with the burning of fossil fuels. Thats just a shot in the dark though.

there was a time I was very fascinated with this stuff. but having grown up in one of Canada's ufo hot spots- I've seen so many of the damn things that I really don't care.

There is no question they are out there. But until we have more answers as to what it actually is (military, alien, or other unexplained phenomenon), it's a lame subject. We've had all the same information for years, I want to hear something new about it.

I go through most of my daily life biting my tongue so that I don't insult people with what I really think of them. FNK is the one place I can comfortably be a big asshole most the time and still get props for it. Deal with it bitch

To an extent, you're right. However, when all someone does is talk shit, you'd expect them to be able to say it to someones face for a change instead of just on fnk all the time.

Most people online don't JUST talk shit all the time... so that's what differentiates him from a normal person who may say a mean thing here and there that they normally wouldn't say in real life, from a keyboard warrior like him who talks shit all the time ONLINE and not in real life..

BTW, why has nobody commented on the credibility of CNN yet? Like seriously, if I were looking for an unbiased media source, Larry King hardly comes to mind. Not to take sides on the whole issue, but fer crying out loud, how many times has this network reported erroneous information?

ebbo. larry king recently did one with seinfeld (for b-movie) and dawg the bounty hunter... I'm sure people are aware that he's not on the cutting edge of news these days.

i totally agree with hardstylin though. they gotta have some sort of different fuel that just isn't available to us. Apparently we have more than 3,000 satellites in orbit for tv stations, telecommunications and military use. If we were to be 'attacked' or visited by aliens I think it would be picked up internationally by a satellite and you couldn't cover that up. Or, the aliens would attack a satellite first?

However, my question is... if their technology is superior to ours then does that mean our obsolete? Perhaps it's completely foreign to them... Would they know to read our radio waves and try to spy on us before the attack? Or do they not need radio-waves and sub-frequencies for communications because they can speak telepathically. Or, as another examply, are fossil fuels obsolete for spacetravel compared to martian oil? Perhaps the gases of venus are the key to interstellar spacetravel and we don't even know it yet.

When it all comes down to it, the biggest proof of intelligent life in outter space is that they haven't tried to contact us yet.

Yeah, or rather that they don't want us to know that they're there.

I dunno. Farscape did a really good job of predicting what would happen if we suddenly discovered advanced intelligent life on other planets. Also kind of highlites that whole principle of how you shouldn't have technology until you understand how to use it and the risks involved. Great show, worth checking out.
