And I think he may very well have figured out on his own. I can't think of a single VGA monitor I've ever come across that also does audio. Asking about RCA is kinda moot, wouldn't you think (if he had RCAs, why is he even asking here?). I know you work in customer support but people aren't always _that_ stupid.

the configuration im looking at to hook it u is over 150 bucks. im gonna say fuck it and just play on the TV.

but he was inquiring originally about VGA support for the PS3.
which it doesnt offer and if it did, he would still have to worry about getting audio in as well.

I was implying that maybe his monitor had a VGA in as well as rca to carry the audio.
my tv does have a VGA connection but no RCA, i thought maybe his did.

But, i also have never seen it.

Couldn't you just use an HDMI to DVI cable to hook it up to an LCD monitor? S'what I did for a while when I first got my Xbox360
