Make sure you look at other options as well. Most people I know who have gone to CDI aren't able to find jobs. It's an extremely competitive job market for fairly low pay.

Thanks for the heads up but I think I'll do fine. It's hard out there for everyone. Personality plays a huge role in interviews and getting jobs. I have never ever gotten an interview and not got the job I was interviewed for.

cdi, sprott shaw, and all those other over-night two bit colleges need to be shut down. their credits are not recognized by any respectable post-secondary institution.

I go to cdi, and yes it is crap and i do want my money back. My teacher is an airhead, but I now work for UBC and BC Women's hospital and get paid well

- was supposed to meet with barbara's foster mom in the lobby if my hotel today, we were going to the vet to get her health papers and then we were going shopping to buy a kennel and stuff. she never showed up, i called, she never picked up, so i emailed. i thought to myself that it was weird but didn't worry too much, the thought crossed my mind that it would be terrible if she had an accident on her way here, but WHAT ARE THE CHANCES OF THAT! well, i just got an email from her daughter. turns out the chances of her having an accident were pretty high because she did :( :( :( now me and charlie have to find out where my dog is, get her health papers done, and be at the airport by 7.

+have my Egypt and Africa trip planned for next year!
+looking for a new job in recruitment in the games industry. should be exciting! resume being adjusted and referrals starting already. (thanks to good friends who "know ppl") ps if anyone knows any leads it would be greatly appreciated

+won a 450$ gift certificate for best buy for being top collector at my last job before i resigned to go on my trip :)

++ tonight on the ferry i get to re-unite with the crazy retired couples i met on the way, they just travel around alaska each summer, it's how they met eachother. me and the wives are all photographers, the asian lady from florida has the same camera as me and all sorts of fun lenses for them!
they're crazy, going all the way to dutch harbor, on the bering sea, near unalaska and russia.
+ i get off the ferry one port before them
