Q: If I put down the wrong postal code....

Quick question to anyone who may know the answer...

If you are expecting mail from someone/some party but by error provide them with the wrong last 3 digits of your postal code, will you still receive the mail, as long as all other information (suite #, address, city, province) is correct?

it depends on who they are sending it with...if its canada post, it may not get to you, if its another courier like dhl or ups it should still make it.

They would be smart enough to look at the city anyway.

My Income tax came in the mail and it had my name spelled wrong and the last 2 digits of the postal code where wrong as well

Chances are it'll just take longer to arrive.

it will take a bit longer, but they (canada post) actually have an entire department for checking incorrect addresses (or incomplete)

I Send Ppl Mail All The Time.. Even If Their Addy Is Partially Wrong They Get It.... Take A Few Days Extra Sumtimes...
