in addition to the pocket power devices, i got a travel blanket & pillow from Jysk for myself, and another for the now ex-GF.

i saved $20 on a Swiss Cross knapsack: $40 after taxes.

Yep, that was it. Most definitely my packrat buddy WT is getting the defective Pocket Power device.

But I could not get ahold of the guy who has my Dell Optiplex GX-2xx series P4, 1.9GHz, 20 GB HDD with cd-rom so I could pay him $120, about 35 bucks more than he was trying to pawn it off on CL.

Why? It's Christmas, and I've also developed a habit of offering the OBO.

with the pocket powers, i also got a pocket knife, a John Benzen Tools for 4 bucks, a 15-LED flashlight with laser pointer for 10 bucks and a mini tripod (5 bucks)for my Kodak C763 I bought back last June so my shots without flash are less jittery.

but the guy who was offering the Dell Optiplex GX-2xx series computer isn't getting my money cos he wasn't available Boxing Day.

so this buck forty's going back in the bank tomorrow.

i'm still getting the slimline PC, cos of the time I invested in updating the seller.

so i am waiting with bated breath by my Moto Q.

tho, i still haven't used the Pocket Power to charge my Q up, and my camera battery. my intent is to do it on the road while busing up to Whistler, but that's out cos i opted to get the computer anyway.

i could just rough it in the DTES overnight :p

so, i could get out and about now, and get obsessed taking pics with the Kodak C763 until the low-battery indicator comes on & surf on my MOTO Q until it complains. Tho I dunno which adapter has the lowest drain for AC, the Kodak or the Motorola.

i might rough it in Newton at a flea-bag motel instead of Whistler. Save for the lack of gondolas and a couple mountains, with this winter, same bang for my buck. I just have to figure out which motel is more exciting: the one at 92nd, the one across from QESS, or the one near 64th. Then there's the chain hotel at 80th.

i am passing on renting a dirtbag motel in surrey, since i won't have room for my travel blankie and pillow.

they met & exceeded my expectations so I paid $125 & got a dvd burner instead of the cdrom!

as well, the guy dropped me offf @ the clivden avenue mcdonald's near the shell gas station & hwy 91, which is near the #340 22nd station-scottsdale route..

i'll be back next year when my '07 tax refund arrives with the asssessment for the dx270 i spotted.
