blech! things are getting a tad heavy, im gonna straight to Robert Jordans latest wheel of time saga installment, its time for a little good ol fashioned fantasy, or perhaps Anne Coulters latest!
after the disaster that is called "book ten" i'm going to wait until book eleven comes out in paperback.

I'm currently in the middle of 1984 (i'm stuck at the part where he's reading the book and i just keep falling asleep)

and

Unknown Man : The mysterious birth of a new species
it's written in the 80's so the things that they talk about are a little behind, but none the less i find it to be very very interesting.

brave new world

I just finished reading Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. It's a sci-fi philosophy book about a futuristic world where everyone is cloned and raised in a certain routine based on their status in the world (Alpha, Beta, Delta, Gamma, Epsilon). The book focuses on the concept of whether personality is inborn or whether you develop it based on external influence, as well as many other social issues, like drug addiction and well... ignorance. Check it out, you won't regret it.

i need to stop reading science fiction novels that got the future right. this book is more like present day than many more recent books.

i recently read a good pamphlet by john daniels. it was called "the ****** question". it was written during the american civil war by a southerner telling the troops that they were right in their fight against the Northern yankees. you should go to an antique shop and pick it up.
