No kidding, in the summer I go crazy with readin because ther eis no deadline for it and I can pick some stuff that I actually enjoy reading, but I find when school comes around I am too preoccupied with readings for school and words in gnereal

It's really quite sad eh? I know that I miss reading and then summer comes around and I think that I can't read another book and I make a trip to the library and find something that I am totally obsessed about and then my reading adventures begin. What school do you go to?

Outlander was Diana Gabaldon's first novel. She has a Ph.D in Marine Biology, I think. Outlander won a few prizes when it was first published. I've read the entire series twice. It's kind of like the Sword of Truth series, but for girls. :P

i'm not at all a religious person, i'm trying to trek my way through the bible, as it was one of my useless last year new years resolutions to resolve before next new years... so i started reading the bible from new years onwards, and i'm not even half way through! why must they make the pages so thin, it doesn't seem so long, until you realise....it is, and then it's too late, you can't stop. it's really a horrid situation i'm in. adhd doesn't help either.

Im pretty sure has a series using the relatives of the characters in that book.
It takes a little to get into but picks up well about a 1/3 of the way through.

The Baroque Cycle, which starts in Quicksilver, follows the same families about 200 years prior....

Haven't touched yet, but would like to check it out.
