Seems like everywhere you go nowdays, you see a Yoko/John couple. What is to explain for this phenomenon? What makes this such a popular pairing over all others. Is it cultural, biological, just a fad?? What accounts for this being the most popular interracial coupling?

Well, thats not really the way it is in my part of town, "Statistically". So maybe you should look at ALL of vancouver before making such a statement.

i'm chinese, my bf's white.

i came to canada when i was 4 so i was pretty much brought up here making me really white washed. i've only seen like 1, at most 2 attractive asian guys. i'm just not attracted to them for some reason.

i think some caucasion guys like asian girls because they think it's "exotic". plus most of us, like myself, are really small so maybe the guys feel more in control when with us? i dunno.

theres no single reason for it. everyone has their own preferences and attractions.

and maybe the fact that there is such a huge population of asian people in the greater vancouver area has something to do with it. *shrugs*

But to see the over all picture, you have to look at all relationships everywhere. Which is impossible. So, the best thing to do would to say something to the effect of "Where I am in the city I notice that..." I say this not to insult, but honestly, where I go to school I see far more Asian guy/White girl relationships.
