ack... realisation about Simple Plan

Not only did I recently realise that the lead singer for Pimple Plan posts on this board (sorry jake, im just kidding)... but he also used to be the lead singer for an actual punk band that I used to like called "Reset" - I actually saw then open for Strung Out a long time ago and they were pretty fukin good... everything seems so wrong with the world now... and now "I'm just a kid" is stuck in my head... NOOOOO!!! GET... Out OF.... MY.. HEAD... *pbreaks head explodes making a mess in the office*.

I'm a little out of the loop though, how many albums between their second one (which for some really brain fartish reason I cant' remember the name of even though i used to have it.. the one with the yellow cd) and this one. I'm pretty sure it's one or two and I seem to remember those ones being pretty good as well?

Edit: just remembered... "Twisted by Design"

I hear simple plan on the radio at work ALLLL the time and it hurts! Since my work is really repetative, after hearing that song it does circles in my head over adn over... the one thats like "Feel like u dont belong and nobody likes youuuuu " or something along those lines...

good god, just add it to the pile of rehashed jaded youth formula punk...

When i hear that track i invision them making a commercial that goes like this
"Hi we are simple plan, are you between the age of 12-19, feel like you don't belong and nobody likes you? Well send us all your money and we'll make a song that pretends like we care"

you know, there was a time (about 10 years ago) when studded belts actually were cool... in fact I still like them but I am seriously upset about how these weiners have gone and taken something that could be so much more and dragged it down to their pathetic level.

Here's a question though, since nobody I have EVER talked to, including tweenaged girls, seems to like these chumps.. why oh why do they continue to annoy us?? Can't we have them shot? Or at the very least just disappear?

thanks captain obvious... i think everyone has an idea of what real punk is, its a lifestyle not a prepackaged form of music that people represent it as.
