I know what you mean about not wearing white.. kinda ruins it for your wedding night.. Thats how I felt too so I got the bottom of my dress black and the top white with black details.. so pretty

I just look gross in white dresses, you however dear, rock the blanc quite nicely.

thanks man. i was\am a pastey white girl, and still dawned it. my friends were trying to get me to tan but i was not about that.
my second choice would have been a red dress, good choice on that.
grad and marriage are far apart, they dont relate at all in the scheme of things.

put together a HOT lace top/pin-striped pants/stilleto look, went with my best girlfriends, realized we hated everyone there and left after an hour.

thank god i didn't spend $200+ on a princess dress.

but if you love highschool then go all out.

When I got out of the limo I started to cry... evryone thought becuase i was so emotional over the fact that school was ending... when infact I had raelized how much money/time/anxiedy/stress I had spent to be with ppl I cant stand. Such a fake boring night.

Also I think I had spent soo long dreaming to make it a perfect night and it had been ntohing like I expected. My hair didnt trun out and some of the alterations my mom had done were so old fastion :( Oh well guess I know what to work on for my wedding day lol

mine cost 525 when it was said and done.. lol

I wore a white grad dress too - It most definately will not ruin wearing a white dress at my wedding. And I spent anout $50 on it :) Thank god too because grad was boooooooooooooring and lame.

i cant remember right now, but the place was in new west, a block or two down from the paramount.

grad for me was everything i expected and more. i didnt waste money on a limo, went in an '84 black labaron (84 being the grad years birth year) with white leather interior and an a-track player, went with my two best friends, and had a hell of a night with people that i knew i wouldnt be seeing after highschool. thats all i expected it to be. but i admit to freakin out a little when my grad date was a little late coming to my house, cause of pictures and so on, but after that it was mostly smooth sailing.
take the easy route and dont expect much. my grad dress was part of my grad present from my parents, i paid for the rest of everything and i payed for my date. at the after grad i brought my 2 closest girlfriends that had already graded and we tore the place up. its stressful if you make it stressful, and it can be a let down if you expect the world of it. its just highschool, if you remember that, youre fine. nothing on my night really happened that was "supposed" to happen, but it was still killer. the best moments were cheesey ones like the hot teacher shakin his ass to baby got back for all us girls, having boys youve been friends with forever become speechless, and most definately being one of the last 10 people there just so you can dance to stairway to heaven.
