Grad Dress.

Grad wasn't what I expected it to be. But it still was wicked.. I didn't spend fuck all. my mom bought everything for me. It was a killer night though, I spent it with my bf (who I'm still with) and all my friends, who I still talk to every day. It was no tv prom, but it still was a special day.

I'm so down for raving in my prom dress.

^haha.. my parents paid for everything also.. dress, dinner, limo, whistler. i went with my bf as well and i'm still with him now

^ just say no to the limo. that cuts some cash. but it does mean that you'll need a d.d., and thats hard to find sometimes on grad. my whole car stayed sober, i think it was better cause we all remember grad, and no one got sick, or cranky, or fighty.....
i ended up paying about $300 for everything in the end. it sucked, but i felt worth it.

I loved my grad it was great
got the chance to go to science world b4 the dance and take pics with my friends in there that was really fun
my dress was a lil pricey ($800) but well worth it got the chance to wear it twice since i went to my bf's grad at the time

<3 yayyy.. My dress was 650, shoes 100, purse 50, hair 300, etc etc etc.. my mommy loves me.

I told my mom that I wouldn't grad unless she bought me the dress I wanted.. I'm a good convincer!!

Try this....get your date to buy your ticket, and split the cost of the limo with a group of friends......the dress though you'll probably be stuck with


mind you this is why I like being a guy......all I had to pay was for my ticket and my tux......I drove my own car so didn't have to pay for a limo or anything

dresses are expensive for me because im 5'11, nothing is long enough.
longer = more fabric = more expensive.
usually when the dress sizes get bigger, so does the chest area of the dress.
LOSE LOSE SITUATION FOR ME HERE :(

I feel sorry for you girls.....you have to buy a dress that you may only wear once (though they look really nice) that cost a load of money....and us guys only have to rent a tux for arould $100-$150 that we just have to return the next day

^ i have the same problem. i actually tried on a few dresses, but none of them were even remotely long enough. i didn't want to deal with the hassle/cost of getting a dress made (though, realistically, i was doing this the week of so as if i had time, haha) so i just bought a hot shirt and wore old pants.
