another thing to think about .... the health of the cows that are producing this milk we drink , they are machines , they live in unnatural environments and are pumped up with steriods to produce more milk ... some cows are drugged so bad that their utters swell up and touch the ground , trust me cows are treated like complete and utter (no pun intended) shit because in the end they are just making a company more money

i drink milk , but i do it in moderation , a gallon every 3 days is overboard , you can do what you want but it is your body , and remember that every glass has the same steriods and drugs that were used to produce the milk in the first place

this may be due to the fact that in my junior year i was force fed tofu and soy products by the many hippies at my school... one time, in the parking lot, i was held down, and they tried to pour soymilk in my mouth. it was fucking awful so i started spitting it back at them, it got all over my shirt, my face, in my EAR.. seriously, wtf....

that sorta ruined it forever.

I hear what you're saying on that one Myra. I became lactose intolerant, and allergic (ie: get colds, throat infections etc) at 18 or so? Not sure if it was from hormones in the milk or from a hormonal/enzyme change that happened in my body due to a large influx of antibiotic use when I became quite ill one year...

And oddly, this summer when I was in Aus I was able to eat much more dairy than I could stomach once I returned home. I wonder what the difference in what our cows eat/are given is for here compared to Aus?
