I live right on Nananimo and 22nd and sad to say that there are no restuarants around there. Maybe you mean 22nd and another street?

the obvious West-side recommendation is Vij's, http://www.vijs.ca, generally accepted as one of the best restaurants in Vancouver.. no reservations... be prepared to wait on weekends.

If you want to be uber-trendy, ATM it's all about Indian street food. Look for any sort of "chaat". But be sure to consume it on a street corner-- you wouldn't want to be called out as a poser.

Yes, you do.

I've had brunch at Chutney Villa (on main and broadway) a few times. They specialize in south Indian food. Very good quality, for a decent price.

Then there's Nirvana, which is around 6th and Main. I order from there (they should deliver to your place) and i've eaten in as well. It's really good. Nice atmosphere....

Try Chutney Villa. That's the best place by far around that area, I think. It looks like a hole in a wall, and is really tiny, but the food is awesome. They bring around a tray of different flavours of chutney and you get to pick a bunch to try with your meal.

I didn't do that on purpose, I reply like a maniac Akeel, spelling goes to the wind. Just because i didn't spell it right doesnt mean i can't.

My curry is so good that i was avoiding this thread all together, but then i get sucked in last minute and just had to blow everything with a sp. mistake. lol

And i probably shouldn't be able to spell samosa...seeing as i grew up on the westside of vancouver and was the only brown person in my whole hood.
