name a good band from vancouver

catchy kids who went to my high school, The Heck. They toured with Hedley earlier this year.

listen to the song on their homepage. they're trying to bring back the classic guitar solo in some songs lol.

Basically, they play a style of rock I think lots of people would like. Pop enough to sell records, edgy enough for the rest.

Shearing Pink's drummer Jeremy works at Audiopile. You could probably contact them there. They played noise rock as well as The Pixies man. He gave me one of their shirts after mine got ripped off in the mosh during the next band.

I saw all of these bands at either the Astoria, or the Secret Location and they played regularily when I was there.

the Dayglo's were originally from Van, but they tour a lot and from what I understand it was cheaper to live out east where there were more venues. I met them that night at the Astoria. They were friends of my buddy's brother-in-law. . . they said nothing about it being their last show, even when I said "I can't wait to see you guys play again"

anyone else think that the newer Misfits stuff is just Dayglo rip-offs?

have you met these people (although you have met one) haha they don't take themselves all that seriously.

guys went to my highschool.. they are cool, but their music is just a lil too silly and out to lunch for me.
