Well I was using a pirated version of windows and it wasnt installing all the proper stuff i needed so my xbox wasnt being recognized with WMP11, even though I disabled the genuine that wmp does.

I used Media connect instead of WMP 11 because WMP 11 is a piece.

And you also don't have to authorize media connect.

I haven't tried to figure out how to record, but it's not really too much of a concern since I don't even care too much for gamer points.

Why not? I'm curious as to your reasoning that you need separate disks for data as for the OS. If you're worried about one drive dying on you, you have just as much likelihood of losing your data drive as you do your OS drive. If you really want to protect your data you'd just be better to have same-size drives and use raid.

Seriously, why bother with the 60 gig? Keep it simple.

I was looking at Media connect, how does it work? Everything I'll ever want to use the 360 for, I'll have to connect through wmp.

I just have it running in the background, it found the xbox right away, I clicked "allow" and that was that.

You just set what folders you want to share, and the xbox has access to them.

it does the same thing as wmp 11 but in a different program, I set up the files to share.. just like a random directory like C:\movies and I can see all the files.

Have you picked up RB2 yet? I'm looking for a special friend to play some RB!
