My vote is The last Unicorn. I was quite young when I first saw it and it scared and intruiged me very much.

When I was a youngin' in elementary school, i watched sailor moon. I had all the cards, and I never missed an episode. imo it's the best. The last unicorn is pretty dope though, did you know it's going hollywood next year?

ya, it's gonna be like lord of the rings style, with real actors. It should be good, but I kind of like it as it is...not everything should go hollywood IMO. But i'll see it anywayz 'cause i love fantasy/adventure, and i loved it when i was a kid.

You might be able to find a copy on ebay, but ebay's a pain in the ass. There's a website up for the movie already, look it up on google. they have some pictures and stuff like that.

I'll admit that I'm not a pro on it myself but you're missing out on some great movies and series.... Bubblegum Crisis, Ninja Scroll, Metropolis, Akira (Yes Winston I know you said that :) ), Appleseed, Battletech.... even these are pretty mainstream though I guess. I remember one I saw called 'Urotsukidoji' or something of that nature and it was easily the most messed I've seen to date. Then again I saw another one on Teletoon late night one time and it had animated penises running around all over the place.... don't ask me why. Hahaha... :PartEkid:

Ninja scroll, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away (Miyazaki movies rule) the Hellsing series are really good. some worth checking out would be dominion tank police, amon saga, the record of lodoss war series, all that type of stuff

I couldnt find too much about the last unicorn remake, except that they are making one....
But i did discover that they are re-relasing the original on DVD addition next month! on amazon.com ,hopefully it will come to stores.

If you liked the dubbed Sailor Moon I highly recommend getting it subbed so you can actually see what Sailor Moon actually was instead of the watered-down edition for "North American Audiences" (read: For kids)

Kenshin of all varieties (Samurai X.... Ooooooooohhhhhhh), Trigun, Armitage, Spirited Away (ditto on the Myazaki rules... Please Disney... GIVE US THE FRIKKEN REST OF EM!), Dragon Half, Sailor Moon (Subbed), Neon Genesis Evangelion (though I'm sure we could have a couple billion decent flame wars about that one), (Crap, I know I'm forgetting something).

Growing up and being chinese i watched alot of japanese anime and Dragon Ball was the shit. before Dragon Ball was big there was this other series cant remember the name in english but it was about these guys who each had a special power from an animal and armor they wore (pegusus, dragon, ice duck lol etc..) that was 1 sweet ass series. Akira, Ninja Scroll and Gundam series were really good shit too.
