i think it's one of the funniest films of the past 10 years. but in a world where Family Guy is considered good comedy, i guess i shouldn't be surprised that some people don't get it

Dont know how to explain it. But I do find it funny. But it took a couple viewings. Its a really dry humor or something.

so totally agree.... i mean, i do like Family Guy and Futurama, but the level of comedy has definatly changed over the past few years. Movies like napoleon dynamite are good to keep the comedy styles alive!... if that makes sence!

the movie is funny on multiple levels. its sad how only the dumbest levels are recognised, and played out, so by the time any late bloomers saw it, the over-hype had killed it.

and wood, dont be talkin bad about family guy. family guy has pushed (and broken!!) the envolope for comedy constantly for the last few years. tv will never be the same.

I think with all the different types of comedy out there. Alot of good humor is lost.
Slapstick comedy is taking away from good underlying jokes and punchlines in movies today!
