Kids meals are put on menus, at a discounted price, so that people will bring their kids along to the restaurant. I can see why you think it shouldn't matter who it goes to, a sale is a sale. But it is a discounted item, with an intended demographic. Same idea with seniors meals and their smaller portions. The size and price are there so that those demographics feel welcomed at these establishments, but are not intended for sale to the general public. Restaurants are business.

There's also the matter of not being able to ring stuff in properly, if people modify things beyond the server or computer capacity. But that's another thing all together.

I know that your a vegetarian and im not sure if you eat eggs..but maybe your dislike of Denny's comes from the fact that there isn't a large selection of good veggie dishes?

For someone to come on and say "DENNY'S IS TRASH" when they always complain about being broke..is rude. Some people happen to enjoy Denny's. Some people don't need to go to ritzy little breakfast nooks to get some scrambled fucked eggs.

Yeah, some people have the skill and patience to spend a whole 5 minutes to make it themselves.

Scrambled Eggs + Waffles + Strawberries + Bacon = a whole honking $3-4

Go to Denny's it'll cost twice that much, take three times as long and taste half as good.

It's so weird you seem to think you know everything there is to know about a lot of people on this site..does that ever creep you out?

Denny's is not what I would consider "cheap"- not that it is expensive, but I can think about 5 places off the top of my head that offer better breakfast, with more variety, for much cheaper, and Dave is right, you can make it yourself at home way cheaper and better. The price of Milestones brunch is comparable to breakfast at Denny's and I think its safe to say the quality of Milestones' brunch is much, much better.

Denny's is trash and I feel comfortable saying that, I live about 2 blocks away from one and I can tell you the people that go in and eat there are either drunk or fat american tourists that want to go somewhere that is familiar to them. It's typical diner food, which you can get at many other places in the city for cheaper that is better quality. Again, I make these statements because I don't like Denny's and it has nothing to do with me being a vegetarian, or thinking I am better than anyone.

Shameful though that they're always so busy. Usually if I go and there's like a half-dozen people waiting before me, I just hop over to Reno's on Broadway. Not as good quality, but still better than Denny's at a better price.

seriously guys, denny's is no more sub par than white spot, ricky's, the pantry, or any other family style restaurant. and all of you that are standing upon your soapboxs preaching about how horrible they are, have eaten at one of the places, one time or another.
