Sorry, White Spot? Nuh-uh. White Spot is a couple levels up from Denny's any day. Maybe about the same as the Ferry version of White Spot, but that's nowhere near what you get in the restaurants.

I ate once at The Pantry. It made me sick.

I used to enjoy Ricky's when I was a kid. Not anymore.

I don't really like family restaurant chains myself. Overpriced and undertasty. Local mom & pop restaurants ftw. And it's not like there aren't a billion Greasy Spoons with better prices and better food all over Vancouver.

Not saying I never go to Denny's. Just not while sober. It's like going to Love At First Bite....

There's another Greasy Spoon nearby on Kingsway that a friend of mine recommended as well, but I can't remember its name.

i am not a fan of chains either. but shit happens and sometimes you end up places by chance.
