So I guess we're just looking for one more person, friend has his wife coming along.

its actually my friends idea to drive.

my folks owe me a trip to anywhere I want for a birthday present and since they seem to be going over to exotic places every 2 months I can only assume they'll help me out on the trip.

believe me, I'd rather fly too. I only really want to spend a day at most getting there and driving will take 4.
I cant take too much time off cause i'll be stupid poor when i get back and adding extra days is going to suck.

To be honest, Ultra can be a little too much in some ways. Sure its cool and im glad I got to check it out, but you seriously have to plan out your whole day and look at time slots trying to fit everyone in. I barely managed to get 10-20 min of each DJ I really wanted to see, even then I still missed out on some who I would probably never see in Vancouver. Think of it like Apex but with super star djs and super star stages and A LOT more ppl. On top of that I often found my self dispersing and rejoining friends since we sometimes wanted to see different things.

Anyways I wouldn't totally recommend making such an effort for a one day show. Just be aware that its more of a sample show case of DJ's rather than a whole new world like Shambala or Burning man for a couple of days.
