If someone was to continuosly attack my race and tell us to starve to death, I don't think I would take that very kindly... but that's just me.

people have said i can be very insensitive. it's all a matter of opinion. i think it's just that i can detach myself from a situation but still argue my points in an attempt to not become emotionaly entangled as diva appears to have become.

when one chooses to debate the other side of the argument, whether they believe in what they are defending or not, they are going to get people upset.

MY RANT: racism tears appart everything i love. my contry, my family, my friends, this site and the rave scene, and countless more. it inhibits the exstents of our thought, and removes any chance in global relations moveing forward.

i Believe that wum should not be permitted to post such racist comments on this forum. when you think about it, this place is about music, the universal language. im positive there are many cultures represented here. so issues concerning racism are rellevent and not something to just casualy forget about.

people are being upset by some of the posts here. i myself have read threads that have contained comments that were offencive and botherd me. i like being proud of the PLUR atmosphere common here, but i feel ashamed haveing those posts presented here with demeening or offence content. im botherd by the casual use, and seeing these topics encouraged by others carrying on the topic. IF people are being offended, they will not want to return to fnk. in my oppionion, freedom of speach is one thing, but anyone intentualy offencive should be removed. Either we remove those offendeing others, or those offended will remove themselves, Question is who would you like to see posting here again in the future.

axion i just wanted to say i like some of what you are saying. not everything, but even in other threads, i like how you think.

i would like to add that racism is not only hatefull comments and hate crimes. simply accsepting stereotypes as truth, is just as bad. saying "black guys run in gangs", or "jews are good at math", are both just as racist as someone talking about geniside of any race.

i wish people would realize how narrow minded and unfounded they are in these racist stereotypes.

to illistrate: each culture becomes a specialist adapting to unique conditions and situations. therefor to achive best results cooperativly, each specailist must contribute there expertese. just as Globably we must each adapt concepts in a multi-cultural approch, utilizeing the racial diversity to understand differnt perspectives and be well rounded.

I think this thread has been blown out of proportion. People are just looking for reasons to argue now. I understand that Diva, among others might be offended by posts made by Wum, and thankfully, the admins have looked into the issue. Just because one may not be as passionate about a certain issue does not make them insensitive. No more fighting!

I think you have summed it up better then I could myself. Thank you LaUrY(x2)n I think thats grounds for closer. I already stated this thread didnt derserve two pages, yet alone four. Lets' stop before it hits ten.

(btw, I understand the laugh of an admin closing a shout to admins)
