Mmmm yes hard to pick a good DJ name - initials are BW so that's why Beedub for now. Still have a few alternative names involving rats & scuzz....

Beedub is a good name its catchy.

You should always be practicing. I practice a minimum of 2 hours daily. Sometimes im in the mood and i do real good, and other times I dont do so well. But the more effort you put into your practice, the better the results.

I try to practice at least several times a week, otherwise I get rusty very fast.

I got offered a weekly spot but in a place with a poor sound sys and they mostly wanted top 40, like the MuchMusic list from a couple of years ago LOL. Also "remix" was a bad word to them. I turned them down since I didn't think it would be fun, am I crazy?

Bdub was a braks DJ who sole the hearts of raver girls over 5 yeras ago. You might get away with having the same name as some DJ in another country or province... but in the same city? Beedub should seriously concider changeing his name.

Yeah there's a few others here & there mostly spelling it different, maybe I will change to BeeDubYou or even just use the real name.

I thought of my DJ name when I was working on my car one day.

I was cleaning out my intake manifold with a can of Carb Cleaner ( spraying the chemical into my intake while the motor is running )...but besides the point....I was reading the instructions on the can, and seen "Warning: Toxic Effects are.....blah blah blah"....It kinda sounded cool to me....so I elaborated on that a lil bit....The story of my life....

Yeah i've noticed that too ^

If i spin too long i feel like i'm losing my touch or somethin.....but if i just go to my decks for like half an hour it always feels better

I can just keep going. The reason i practice that long is cuz i lose track of time. And it ends up being more than two hours, i just keep going. When im in the mood i dont notice the time or anything else around me.

boh! that's when I notice the most improvement. I just pick up my acoustic every now and then, fuck around for 15 or 20 minutes, and go off and do something else for a few hours.

Sometimes I put in like 11 hours days though. . poor hands.
