Sometimes things don't progress in our lives because the timing isn't right - it's similar to when the universe throws your life in a certain direction and it seems unjust and trivial at first but turns out to be something beautiful and progressive in the long run.

Think of it in that sense, I highly doubt he thinks of the situation as 'awkward' or your feelings as awkward, you're an exceptional person Yoko - super intelligent and you have a lot to offer, i'm sure he'd be absolutely thrilled. And like many others have mentioned it's likely that he does feel the same way but be patient with it.

Your connection does sound profound, so give it time and you'll find as time progresses and you two do get to perhaps visit each other more something will develop and you'll find strategies to make things work.

Yup...and fnk randomly inserts "spaces" between my non-space posts, I don't know why... I don't consciously put them there.
