we LOVE you! mwahahahaha we still have to dance you and I.....anyways I switched from tri- cyclin to marvelon cuz the hormone levels were not high enough I remember the doctor showing me on the chart that it was one that was higher up there....so this could have somthing to do with it

yeah, i had been on alesse before, and it didnt really do the trick, so i got switched. i had noticed similar problems with alesse, but not nearly as bad. so if i drop back to a lower one, it wont be as effective. what do you people think of those health and vitamin stores selling products to help? does anyone know anything about this?

She's got a point there (lauryn). It most likely is because the one you are taking is the wrong pill for you. And If I remember correctly marvelon is the pill that took my ginormous sex drive away, which is why they were flushed! So deffinately try another pill, and another one if needed.
but, it may have something to do with your mental state. I found that no matter how horny I am, if I fell into to much of a routine with my lover, and the wrong one at that, then I didn't want to have sex. But that also doesn't mean you'll be able to turn yourself on either, unless you are one of the lucky girls that always has been able to do so. You might even just need to switch things up a bit, let her try things she's fantasized oe curious about but never has done.

It's happened to me!
I definately lost my sex drive on alesse and I bled the whole time I was on it.. So I switched to tricyclen: Tri-cyclen made me real horny and moody on the 3rd week, and 3 months afterwards, made me bleed a lot. So I switched to demulen which had high amounts of estrogen and was monophasic..I wasn't bleeding for a while, but I completely lost my sex-drive. the one I'm on right now and have been for 6 months, is well, neutral.. I think that in some ways I've become more "Relaxed" than I ever was prior to ever going on the pill but it's not too bad and thank goodness I've found one brand that doesn't make me bleed or cause me to become depressed all the time. it takes a lot of trial-and-error until you find the right pill that works for your unique body, my advice is just to keep trying and consult with your doctor ;)

alesse and marvelon. alesse, like others have said, included constant bleeding, which is a pain in the ass, and the reaosn i switched. marvelon has stopped that, but this other side affect is almost as annoying.....
