I would not reccommend the shot at all, it was the worst month-two months of my life, gawd. Major signs or depression!

Its so much easier to just take the pill everyday.

but i seem to be the only one :P

i personally had a hard time with the pill
my body doesnt seem to react well with estrogen
and since the shot is progesterone only
its agreeing with me so far.. (ive been on it for about a year-ish)

if youre concerned about the lack of period/pregnancy issue
take a pregnancy test once a month/every two months

to each their own i guess
but best bet is to talk to your doctor
and let them know your history so they can give you a proper assesment as to what would be best :)

I use the patch. Works great for me since I have a really sensitive gag reflex. Taking a pill everyday kinda sucked.
Stick sticker on bum and away you go! Just don't pick it......the patch not your bum. Well don't pick that either :y:

the shot is pretty good. i've been on it for over a year. i found the mood swings and depression went away. the only down sides i've had were that i get a bit moody towards the end of the 4 months, your average pms right. and then i duno i've had a bit of complications. awhile ago i suddenly strted up with a flow and i really don't know why. not nice though. other than those things the shot has rocked my friggen socks to the point of no return.
