Calling people on their shit in the manner you did tends not to help in any way, shape or form.

It just makes them all defensive and then refuse to listen to anything you say.

one of the things i see now at 25 that i didn't see so much at 18, my mom is smarter then me

and i lived in her house, and it's better to pick your battles, then to battle over every little thing

put up with the small stuff cause it's a roof, and food
so she doesn't like your lifestyle choices, find a happy medium so you don't have to live on the street- i mean seriously, she's your mother, you really think she should be OK with your hard drugs and smoking, 18 or not she's gonna care about that kind of stuff and while you are under her roof, you should respect her thoughts on it and put them away til you can be a real adult and be out on your own
