my cat is dying

I read this post a while ago and I really didn't know how to respond.

I've never really dealt with death that closely and can only imagine how it would be to see one of my cats in the same state.

I read your thread about your cat and I just wanted to send some warm condolence.

I know how much it hurts to have a pet pass away. I think it's fortunate you got to spend time with your kitty before it passed away... sometimes it happens so suddenly that you don't even get that.....

Recently, my friend and I took his dog out for its last day... we went and took pictures all around Vancouver, fed it ice cream, hamburgers, in celebrating her life. She was going to be put down the next day because of her fading health.... It was so sad, yet it brought a lot of closure I think.
