ive been cheated on, my last girlfriend actually cheated on me.

And sadly ive also cheated on someone, mind you i was in grade 10 but still its still the same, and after seeing what it did to the poor girl i know ill never do it again.

however, i did have one boyfriend who would buy me all kinds of stuff everytime he cheated on me so basically some other girl was doing all the work.

people, seriously... unless you're in your mid 20s you're really too young to have a 'relationship'. we all have urges, want to sleep around. it happens. don't be so f'ing naive that you're bf/gf would never cheat on you. I think something like 90% of relationships, atleast 1 of the parties have in the past or are currently cheating, so if you arn't/havn't... lol. Personally I don't 'date' because I'm generally pretty honest, and I wouldn't stop sleeping with other girls, however I can say this much-nearly half(maybe even more...) the girls I pick up at the clubs tell me they have boyfriends, and I know 2 of my good friends that always have a 'girlfriend' that thinks they're loyal... both of them pick up all the time.

Yeah I've been cheated on and in my books it's the worst thing that could happen in a relationship next to death to have it end. I just have never understood the whole betrayal issue of it, if you aren't happy than just leave the proper way, is it really, just really that necessary to play?

I think I was cheated on if.......my old ex told me she went shoe shopping alone and my buddy see's her at the mall with another guy, I confront her and she lies about it. That count's as cheating right? If a girl would lie about that, then how is a guy able to trust her.

I never cheated on anyone and never plan to, just not my style. If I don't like where the relationship is going I end it. Also I'm a one girl type of guy.

My ex cheated on me. We broke up for three months, and tried things again, but I could never trust him. Every time I looked at him it made me sick to think that he did that to me while I was completely oblivious, probably at work busting my ass for what was supposed to be our future.

Anyhow, some good comes of everything. It really taught me to identify the qualities I am NOT looking for in a man, and to appreciate the amazing qualities that I may not have paid much attention to in the past. All in all, I have moved on and am now in an unbelievable relationship and am 100x happier than I ever thought possible! :)

That's not cheating, that's lying.
She may have just run into a friend, or she may have lied to you because she didn't want you to be jealous. I had a super jealous boyfriend a few years ago and he wouldn't let me hang out with my best friend, who happens to be a guy. So I had to lie about it. Had he found out, he would have freaked and been convinced that I was cheating on him, when in fact, I never would do such a thing.

The bottom line is that no one should be in relationship where they lie, feel like they have to lie, or feel like they are being lied to. Trust is imperative to a happy, healthy relationship. Without it, you're screwed.
