You live and learn, and feelings do change.
Consider yourself lucky that she was a big enough person to be honest with you, and not lead you on. Most likely, her feelings WERE true, but as she changed as a person her feelings for you changed as well.

All this means is that she's not the one you're supposed to be with, and that you're one step closer to actually finding "the one".

werd chicky... thats so true.. i had to do this to my man of 2 years about 6 months ago, and he's STILL hurt from it... its not that i didn't CARE about him anymore, its just that i couldn't love him tha same way... love evolves and changes over time, and it was hurting me too much to stay with him...

so arent u happy that she's not just putting on a front and staying with u just so ur feelings wouldn't be hurt? arent u glad u can start looking for someone who does love you? and arent u glad she isnt putting herself through abunch of misery staying?

it may not seem so now, but it sounds like it was for the best.

fair enough

theres more to it then just her realizing who she really was. its more like she realized what she wanted to do with her life and decided i couldnt be a part of that.

i just feel like were apart for all the wrong reasons, and to be quite honest i feel quite empty without her :( and to top it all off, iv lost my desire to go out there and find another woman. i put alot of effort into 'us' and now i really dont know where to pick up the pieces and start again.

just another sucker who got hurt.

Well you probably won't be in the mood to just go out and find a replacement. Which is probably a good thing. Take this time to do more things for yourself. Sometimes lives change. And if she realy did care about you. then Im sure she really thought this through. She probably didnt want to hurt you. but after thinking it over, realized that for her to to become who she wanted to be. It would be to hard on you and her in the end. Just be glad that she was honest with you. Some would not be so considerate.
It will hurt, but in time you will be ok. Just spend some time with friends, learn and grow from this.
