I couldn't have said it any better. If my bf listened to his friends when we got back together... it would have been over a long time ago. Then again we love each other and can work though anything that life throws at us.

After we broke up I started seeing my ex again. My friends didnt like it, but I told them that regardless of what they felt i SHOULD be doin, she was making me happy for the time being and they should just be happy for me.

They turned out to be right, but still, it was my mistake to make, and the friends that i am closest with now respect that.

i dont know if there is anyone else who has experieced this, but i have a buddy that hasnt had a g/f in recollectable memory and seems to take out his frusteration by being ulta-critical of others' g/fs. Its a pretty dick thing to do, but i can somewhat understand. Maybe i would be that bitter if my virginity had grown back.... :P

Ideally, your gf or bf should also be your best friend. You should really feel like they are your other half or you're wasting your time.

Then agian, like I said before, I feel like I'm too old to mess around with relationships I'm not sure about. I'm ready to find "the one" and live my life with him. Not everyone's there, though.

anyhow heres a new update

things are going well with my gf. shes staying with her friend from school who's cool and i've been dropping by before and after work since shes staying less than a 5 mins drive from where i'm working. her friends came down to visit from all over the place last sunday and we partied it up. some of my buddies who've critisized her came along as well and they got along with her.... had some chats and laughs... so i guess they feel kinda bad for totally not liking her. she hasn't really been doing much tho. theres a coffee shop nearby that was hiring but she decided to delay dropping her resume off there since it was pouring today... ended up staying in all day doing nothing but sleeping, watching tv and eating.... and spending time with me when i dropped by.

i just hope she gets employed soon so she'll have money to support her shopping affliction and just do shit.

i do love her but i've had moments even today where i've had doubts about the relationship. i won't go too deep into what i was thinking right now since i'm pretty fuckin beat from working all day. will continue soon....
