id have to say josh and dave have the right idea....new spaces...differant types of performances to make it more exciting rather than djs switching, getting them involved with the performances at hand....winter breaks was a good start to something new...had live band, break dancing, spinning, naked chicks, food, decorations(not by choice but a good idea...old school partied did it!!) differant crowds in one room seeing a variety of events!! i was so entertained and i was sober the entire night!! i had more fun then any other show in the last few years because of it..........

Digital Over will become famous soon enough
I'd agree with an early post "venues" there needs to be more creativity with over all production, true its tough to find a good venue, but once the spring is in full force, I'd really like to see more parties at like grouse mountain, cypress bowl, or some semi large scale out door open air event, those imo are some of the most memorable parties

agreed....the last few parties that ive gone to (kick it/elevation/winterbreaks etc) have been great, smaller venues, closer more intamate vibe, and few to zero little girls running around in their panties.
i hope we will be seeing more of these parties in the future. :)

i voted with the norm for more smaller covert venues......last year around this time and late fall saw a series of undergrounds get busted, but this year's been pretty good.....let's just not get too cocky with the scene's recent string of luck haha. :)

I voted for the 16+ age limit. Also I would like to see more smaller parties they have the best vibe. Plus they aren't hella over priced. Oh and more Trance, I love Trance.

I think we should be able to vote on more than one thing, but with only one vote I went for the more smaller venues - I love them so much more, they are more plurry and friendly, and all-around better "feel"... I have been to some massives like this, but very, very few (apex, would be a good example :))

I don't think a change in music is a fix, there are plenty of dj's for each genre. 16+ sounds good, new venues right now, your choices seem pretty poor these days. Age seems to be the biggest problem these days (and the odd ungrateful dj) mixed with alot of people moaning about the plaza days. So 16+ and a new plaza, first one seems easy but a new venue thats tricky....

a new 4000+ person venue... and a new vibe...
there is no vibe at parties anymore... mainly cuase no one is happy enough to give off one... its either 18+ girls complaining about girls 15 and under.... 15 and under girls complaining about the harrasment by the other girls, the guys wanting to get rid of their drugs, people concerned about getting "high" again, "tripping out", no dedicated light show people that are there for the people... fuck i dont even see candy kids anymore... believe it or not i miss those kids, they made the raves....authentic (even if you hated them... they were always there to be made fun of) and the list goes on. Any one care to add to what makes a "vibeless" party?

Ben you just don't go to the right raves Kick It Again had an awsome vibe it was super fun. I am pretty sure I can safely make a statment that legal raves in Vancouver are pretty much done for - Apex and Kiss it seems. Thank god though I have had enough of the cookie cutter parties that promoters have been spewing out as of late.
